( Trigger Warning: Miscarriage, Car Crash, Depression, Suicidal thoughts )

Yerin got pregnant about a year into the marriage and was more than excited. Though, a car crash one night ended it all for the couple as it had caused her to miscarry their baby. Ever since then, she had gone through a very destructive and depressed stage and thoughts of suicide plagued her mind. The relationship became strained ( and either cheating happened, or he just couldn’t handle it himself either because he was depressed too ) and they separated for a short time. Reconnected and tried, but eventually couldn’t see past what had happened to them and decided it would be best to be friends and if the time came again, maybe they would try to be more one day.

Match Made in Heaven: Matched on an online dating site ( tinder, or whatever.. ) and they start talking and get on so well. They’re always so busy and can never meet in person, until she goes to a meeting with several friends and viola, the guy is there, but with another girl/guy.

Co-Worker: And that’s just as simple as that! A friendly face at work whom she can get along with and work well alongside.

Bookshop Clerk: Someone who sees her at their store almost every day they’re working. They share their love for books and recommend each other things off their own little made up lists of things to read next. Though, this person doesn’t know that Yerin works for a publishing company and definitely doesn’t know that she’s a bestselling author.

Secretly Dating: After the divorce, Yerin and her now ex-husbands friend hooked up at an office party and started seeing each other. It wasn’t intentional, and the relationship never saw the public light — the two of them just found solace in one another and found hope that there could be something for two lost souls.

Best Friend: Someone Yerin has divulged all her secrets to and has no problem opening up to with things
